The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, a fine grain and a small intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild fruits, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of fleshy cherry, fleshy strawberry as well as hints of grey pepper, spices, saffron and a subtle hint of dry oak. The palate is beautifully fresh, juicy, precise, well-built and offers a small straightness, a good construction/structure, an acidulous frame and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy wild blackberry, pulpy/juicy cherry, small notes of wild cassis associated with a touch of small acidulous/juicy red berries as well as hints of lily, fresh iris, liquorice, dry mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of dry oak/sense of the place. Good length. Tannins are structuring. A discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence.
