The nose is aromatic and offers a small flowery side, a fine complexity and a very fine richness. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, crushed strawberry, small notes of fresh flowers associated with small touches of small pulpy fruits, bright blueberry as well as fine hints of nutmeg, toasted, tonka bean, a very discreet hint of spices, cuben pepper and an imperceptible varietal hint. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, gourmandize, fullness as well as suppleness and a certain density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of fresh flowers (lilac, cornflower…), chocolate, fresh/juicy blueberry as well as hints of toasted, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of green cardamom (in the background). Good length. A marked minerality on the finish.
