The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, a fine richness as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of fleshy/ripe blueberry associated with fine touches of crushed violet plum as well as very fine hints of lily, tonka bean, toasted, a discreet hint of chocolate and a subtle hint of orange. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a juicy/acidulous fruit and a fine crunchiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, blueberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of raspberry as well as very fine hints of juicy violet fig, cardamom, a very discreet hint of liquorice, graphite and an imperceptible hint of salinity (in the background). Good length. Tannins are structuring and offer a fine straight side. A very discreet firmness and a hint of crushed almond on the finish/persistence (bring gourmandize).
