The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration as well as a certain freshness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small juicy black berries as well as fine hints of spices, a discreet toasted hint, coffee/grilled and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good definition, juiciness as well as a racy minerality and a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/acidulous blackberry, small notes of violet associated with small touches of small crunchy/juicy red berries, small blue fruits as well as very fine hints of lilac, lily, tonka bean and toasted. Good length. Tannins are finely chewy. A fine chew and a very discreet hint of caramelization on the finish.
