Gentili – San Verolo 2018 – Bardolino

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of fresh / pulpy raspberry, juicy cassis and small notes of Boysenberry associated with touches of quite ripe plum as well as small hints of zan, black olive and an imperceptible hint of thyme flowers. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a small freshness, minerality, a fine acidulous frame, precision, a good finesse of the straightness as well as a certain aromatic purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh cherry, bright redcurrants and small notes of juicy cassis associated with a touch of juicy purple plum as well as fine hints of zan / liquorice and a very discreet hint of oleander (in the background). Good length. Presence of a very discreet hint of chocolate on the finish / persistence.
