It reveals notes of juicy/ripe small black berries, blackberry, small notes of camphor associated with fine touches of strawberry, violet as well as fine hints of toasted, nutmeg, iris, discreet hints of caramelization and cocoa. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, a good definition of the fruit and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, acidulous Boysen berry, small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with touches of small crunchy/juicy black berries as well as hints of hazelnut, nutmeg, fine hints of caramelization, a very discreet hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Very fine hints of toasted almond, chocolate and a very discreet hint of salinity in the persistence/finish. Tannins are well-built.
