It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, small ripe wild berries, small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of blackberry, cornflower/violet as well as fine hints of spices and a subtle hint of cinnamon (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, a small tension, precision as well as good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of cornflower, camphor, small wild berries, crunchy raspberry as well as hints of chocolate, juicy/crunchy violet plum, tobacco and an imperceptible hint of cardamom. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
