The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration, a fine grain as well as a fine power and a fine straightness. It reveals notes of small black berries, blackberry, Sichuan pepper associated with touches of crushed cassis, fine touches of crushed strawberry as well as small hints of spices, nutmeg and a discreet saline hint. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, a small fat, tension as well as a mineral frame and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy cassis, small crunchy/juicy black berries, small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with touches of violet, iris, camphor, tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of fresh tobacco, fresh nutmeg, toasted and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of bitterness of the cocoa in the finish.
