The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers intensity, a small power, a fine grain as well as a good definition and deepness. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, small fleshy/ripe black berries and small notes of plum associated with touches of candied raspberry, violet, camphor as well as fine hints of dark chocolate, bourbon vanilla and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a finely acidulous frame, a fine melodious side, tension, a beautiful racy minerality, a fine grain as well as an aromatic purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy black berries and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of black plum, chocolate, toasted, cardamom, violet as well as hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Gourmandize/appetence on the finish.
