The nose is racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful complexity, precision, a beautiful purity of the fruit, a beautiful concentration (in finesse), a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as concentration (full of elegance and complexity). It reveals notes of bright blackberry, small blue berries and small notes of graphite, bright cassis associated with small hints of ripe black plum, toasted, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of flowers, pepper and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, suave and offers a beautiful definition, purity of the fruit, deepness, elegance, fleshiness/pulpiness, power, a beautiful touch, a certain straightness (in finesse) as well as a beautiful sense of detail. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy/ripe cassis, blueberry, small notes of small bright/Fresh black fruits associated with touches of small red fruits (cherry, raspberry) as well as a small hint of toasted, chocolate, bright redcurrant, graphite, caramelization, toasted hazelnut, discreet hints of vanilla, cornflower, lily, a racy minerality, very discreet hints of sugared mild tobacco and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built, elegant, very fine firmness and racy. A beautiful persistence and length. A subtle chew and a hint of crushed almond on the persistence.
