The nose is elegant and offers power (full of finesse), richness, a beautiful finesse of the grain and deepness. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, wild blackberry, cornflower and small notes of small bright blue fruits associated with small hints of violet, mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of sichaun pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers a beautiful freshness, definition, full of length as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cassis, blackberry and small notes of juicy/fresh strawberry associated with touches of small juicy/fresh red berries, bright blueberry as well as subtle hints of lily, a racy minerality/terroir, very fine hints of toasted, nutmeg, mild tobacco. An imperceptible hint of chocolate on the persistence. Good length. Tannins are fine and elegant. An imperceptible varietal hint (nice) on the finish/persistence.
