The nose is aromatic and offers a racy power (in finesse), intensity and a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, very ripe strawberry, small notes of dry violet associated with fine touches of black plum, camphor as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted, cornflower, very fine hints of truffle and pepper. The palate is finely tight, racy and offers a very fine straightness, a certain tension, juiciness as well as freshness, a good definition and dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe wild blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of very ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of black plum, violet, lily as well as a subtle hint of small crushed black fruits, truffle, liquorice, a subtle hint of camphor and graphite. Good length. Tannins are well-built and racy. A very discreet saline hint on the finish/persistence.
