Château de Pressac 2010 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé :

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain racy power and maturity. It reveals notes of quite ripe blackberry, small black fruits, small notes of quite ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of violet plum as well as hints of grey pepper, spices, a subtle hint of underwood. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness as well as a racy minerality, straightness, power, a good structure and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, small juicy/quite ripe black fruits, small notes of violet associated with touches of small wild berries, griotte, plum as well as hints of chocolate, zan/liquorice, a subtle hint of mild tobacco, cloves and vanilla. Good length.
