The nose is beautifully balance and offers power, a beautiful fine grain, a certain deepness as well as a good definition and complexity. It reveals notes of fleshy/very ripe cassis, fleshy blackberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of crushed plum, fleshy cherry as well as fine hints of lilac/cornflower, small candied fruit, grey pepper, an imperceptible hint of sweet spices, incense and graphite. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine unctuosity, a beautiful freshness as well as tension, a small fat and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, ripe cassis, small notes of fleshy raspberry, ripe cassis, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with small touches od violet, lily as well as a hint of candied small berries/fig, fine hints of hazelnut, almond, chocolate and an imperceptible hint of black truffle/chocolate truffle (in the background). Good length. Tannins are elegant, finely chewy and precise. A fine chew on the finish.
