The nose offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of very ripe blackberry, very ripe cassis, small notes of plum associated with touches of truffle essence, pepper as well as a very discreet hint of salt and tobacco. The palate is fresh, mineral, slightly tight and offers concentration, freshness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of prune, very ripe/cooked cassis, small notes of violet, dry plum associated with touches of chocolate, truffle essence as well as very fine hints of pepper, underwood, dark chocolate, a very discreet hint of pepper and vanilla. Tannins are structured.
