The nose offers elegance as well as gourmandize. It reveals notes of quite ripe wild strawberries, dried cherries and small notes of dry purple plum associated with touches of violet, nutmeg, tonka bean, warm local grove as well as a discreet hint of black olive, toasted and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmand, beautifully framed, all in length and offers freshness, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, precision, a small suavity, a small fat as well as a good guideline. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quite ripe raspberry, quite ripe cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of tonka bean, hazelnut, roasted almond as well as discreet hints of black olive, local grove and a very discreet hint of tobacco (in the background). Tannins are precise and slightly firm. Good length and good persistence. Presence of a subtle saline hint and toasted / caramelization on the finish (brings sapidityand gourmandize).
