Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – En Vaut 2018 – Volnay

The nose is fruity, elegant, beautifully defined and offers a very beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of bright cassis, wild strawberry, small notes of bright blackberry associated with a touch of small bright blue berries, lily, violet as well as very fine hints of zan, incense, cardamom and very fine hints of toasted oak/cocoa. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, beautifully defined and offers minerality, juiciness, precision, straightness as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of small fleshy/crushed red fruits as well as small hints of cardamom, incense, vanilla flowers, a very discreet hint of toasted and cocoa. Tannins are elegant, precise and very discreetly firm. Good length.
