The nose is elegant, racy and offers a certain aromatic purity, deepness and a beautiful power (full of control/finesse). It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, pulpy/crushed blackberry, small notes of small fleshy black plum associated with small touches of graphite, a racy minerality, pepper, spices, very fine hints of crushed cherry, lilac and a discreet hint of tea. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, beautifully defined and offers a beautiful minerality, a small freshness, delicacy, gourmandize as well as an acidulous frame, an aromatic purity, precision and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright Boysen berry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of strawberry, cardamom, lilac as well as very fine hints of graphite, fresh mild tobacco, a discreet hint of vanilla and spices. Good length. Tannins are elegant and beautifully defined. A beautiful wine!
