The nose is fruity, well-built and offers precision as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of cherry, crushed raspberry and small notes of small fleshy/juicy berries associated with touches of violet, plum as well as very fine hints of liquorice, cornflower and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight, stretched and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity, a fine grain, a small tension as well as a beautiful definition, a small freshness and a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of small crushed red berries associated with touches of creamy plum as well as hints of cornflower, violet, very fine hints of graphite, a racy minerality, camphor, a subtle hint of pepper and a very fine varietal hint. Tannins are well-built. A fine sapidity on the finish. Good length.
