The nose is fruity and offers a small gourmandize, a very fine richness and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy/crushed violet plum, fleshy strawberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of bright blueberry, chocolate, toasted as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers precision, tension, juiciness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous plum, blue berries, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of crushed cassis, fresh lily, a racy minerality as well as very fine hints of tea and chocolate. Tannins are finely powdered. Good length. A persistence on notes of cocoa and caramelization.
