The nose is fruity, racy and offers minerality, precision and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy redcurrant, cherry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of blackberry, a racy minerality/graphite, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of spices, a subtle hint of bergamot, caramelization and grey pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, minerality, freshness as well as suavity, a fine unctuosity, a small gourmandize and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry, small notes of fleshy/crushed redcurrant associated with touches of violet, rose as well as hints of chocolate/tonka bean, caramelization, a subtle hint of sugared mild tobacco, an imperceptible hint of hazelnut and graphite. Good length. Tannins are finely firm. A persistence on hints of dark chocolate.
