Albert Morot – Toussaints 2018 – Beaune Premier Cru

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a small power, intensity and harmony. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet, small notes of cassis bud associated with touches of violet plum as well as fine hints of liquorice, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of cloves. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers juiciness, gourmandize as well as a small fat, suavity and a beautiful guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of small red berries associated with a touch of crunchy/acidulous plum as well as small hints of lily, lilac, a racy minerality, a subtle hint of fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of cloves. Good length. Tannins are precise.
