The nose is aromatic and offers a small complexity, a fine grain as well as harmony and a sensation of tension. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy black plum, small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of cherry, violet as well as hints of toasted, caramelization, sugared mild tobacco, a very discreet hint of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, gourmand and offers generosity, a juicy/acidulous frame, harmony and a pulpy/bright fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry, cherry, small notes of crushed blackberry associated with a touch of crushed blueberry, cornflower as well as fine hints of caramelization, rose wood, a discreet hint of saffron and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are well-built, elegant, precise and very finely firm.
