The nose is fruity and offers power, a small incisive side as well as a certain intensity and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte cherry, camphor, dry black plum, small notes of concentrated cassis associated with fine touches of fig, dry local grove, pepper, graphite, very discreet hints of spices and black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension, dynamism and a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe wild cassis, ripe black plum, small notes fig associated with touches of dry small blackberry berries, dry strawberry, violet, camphor as well as hints of grilled hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built. A good length. A very discreet hint of bitterness on the finish/persistence.
