It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of wild blue fruits, wild strawberry as well as fine hints of spices, laurel, local grove, a discreet hint of flowers, a very fine hint of nutmeg, cardamom and black tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, straightness/structure, a fleshy/dense fruit and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe fleshy cassis, crushed wild blackberry, small notes of small fleshy/juicy fruit associated with touches of crushed cherry, fig, violet plum, wild raspberry as well as very fine hints of zan, dry tobacco, cardamom, tonka bean, spices, a discreet hint of black tea and a subtle hint of underwood (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built, supple.
