The nose is fruity and offers power (controlled) and small intensity. This wine needs to be decanted. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed strawberry, small notes of black cherry/griotte associated with small touches of cornflower, small juicy blue fruits, lilac/lily as well as hints of liquorice stick, a subtle hint of sense of the place/rosemary, spices and an imperceptible hint of dry tobacco (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, suavity, silkiness, richness (in control) and a very fine freshness (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of crushed griotte associated with touches of crushed strawberry, pulpy violet plum as well as fine hints of lilac/lily, liquorice stick, spices, toasted/chocolate, mild tobacco and a discreet hint of pepper/rosemary. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
