Mastroberardino – Radici 2015 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a fine intensity, a certain freshness and concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small black berries, small notes of black plum associated with touches of camphor, cocoa as well as hints of rosemary and a hint of grey pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers juiciness as well as a certain freshness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh wild cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of small fresh black berries associated with touches of raspberry, lily, local garrigue as well as fine hints of tobacco, a discreet hint of rosemary. A subtle hint of cocoa on the finish. Tannins are finely marked.
