Enoaelta, I Nobili 2016 – Taurasi DOCG

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize as well as richness. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of chocolate associated with touches of crushed bigarreau cherry, crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of violet, liquorice, a very discreet hint of dry local copse and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a mineral frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of juicy/acidulous violet plum associated with fine touches of juicy/fresh bigarreau cherry, liquorice stick as well as fine hints of local copse, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of rosemary (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built.
