The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a mineral frame as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of juicy/acidulous violet plum associated with fine touches of juicy/fresh bigarreau cherry, liquorice stick as well as fine hints of local copse, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of rosemary (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built.
