The nose is fruity and offers power, a fine pulpiness and a certain intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, plum, small notes of camphor associated with small touches of acidulous plum, smoke, fine hints of strawberry as well as a discreet hint of black tea and an imperceptible hint of local copse. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, suavity as well as a good freshness, gourmandize, tension and a beautiful ripe/juicy/acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous/juicy blackberry, blue plum, small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of redcurrant, small black berries, violet, thyme flowers as well as a subtle hint of olive tree, nutmeg, smoke, a very discreet hint of mild tobacco and racy minerality. Good length. A persistence on a hint of cocoa. Tannins are finely powdered.
