The nose is aromatic and offers an aromatic purity, a certain complexity and a controlled power. It reveals notes of small black berries, cassis, small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of violet plum, sense of the place, liquorice, discreet hints of toasted and a subtle hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, racy and offers a beautiful juiciness, freshness, a good aromatic purity as well as a beautiful definition, gourmandize, an acidulous frame and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of crunchy blueberry associated with a touch of black plum, a fine hint of small crushed red berries as well as hints of sense of the place (local biotope), cocoa and discreet hints of crushed roasted almond. Tannins are very finely chewy and well-built. Good length and persistence.
