Albert Bichot – Les Sorbets 2018 – Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru

The nose is elegant, aromatic, beautifully power and offers a fine grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of crunchy cherry, small red fruits, violet, small notes of rose associated with small touches of acidulous plum, lily as well as fine hints of racy minerality, very discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a silky touch, freshness, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as suavity, a fine tension and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous wild redcurrant, raspberry, small notes of crunchy cherry associated with small touches of bright Boysen berry as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg and discreet hints of nutmeg.
