The nose is fruity, very discreetly tight and offers a small gourmandize, a certain fleshiness and a fine firmness. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy/ripe violet plum, small notes of small crushed blue fruits associated with fine touches of cornflower, lilac/lily, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of cuben pepper and mild tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandize, juiciness as well as a fine acidulous frame, a fine concentration, a small density and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/bright cherry, violet plum, small notes of juicy Boysen berry associated with touches of crushed raspberry, violet, lilac as well as fine hints of liquorice, mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). A very discreet hint of toasted/chocolate on the finish/persistence. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
