The nose is aromatic, a bit restrained and offers a small power, a fine grain as well as elegance. The wine needs to be put in carafe. There are notes of pulpy cassis, bright black plum and small notes of small red fruits associated with fine touches of violet, camphor of sweet spices, a discreet hint of Cuben pepper, black olive, cocoa as well as an imperceptible hint of cloves and caramelization. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, freshness, a certain aromatic purity, a fine suavity as well as a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy redcurrants, pulpy plum and small notes of bright cassis associated with small touches of cherry blossoms, sweet spices, nutmeg, discreet hints of olive tree, lilac as well as very discreet hints of Cuben pepper and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are well-built and elegant. Good length.
