The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers richness, power as well as a certain generosity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed strawberry, small notes of crushed cassis associated with fine touches of small ripe wild berries, lily as well as fine hints of toasted almond, nutmeg, very fine hints of caramelization, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of green cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegance, beautifully defined and offers creaminess, volume and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of crushed redcurrant associated with touches of wild strawberry, lily, liquorice stick as well as hints of bourbon vanilla pods, cardamom and chocolate. Tannins are well-built. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
