The nose is fruity and offers elegance, power as well as a beautiful grain and a certain deepness. It reveals notes of fleshy wild strawberry, small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with small touches of spices, tonka bean, toasted, violet and a hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandize, tension as well as a small stretchy side, a small acidulous frame, matter, a certain density and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, crushed raspberry, small notes of small crushed/fleshy red berries associated with a touch of violet, crunchy violet plum, vanilla pod and a very fine hint of sugared mild tobacco. Good length. Fine hints of tonka bean/cocoa on the persistence.
