It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, ripe wild strawberry, small notes of small wild black fruits associated with touches of small berries, violet, lily, limestone/terroir as well as hints of Sichuan pepper, lilac, a discreet hint of nutmeg and pencil lead. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame as well as gourmandize, a beautiful pulpy/juicy/acidulous fruit, minerality, freshness, a fine power and a fine/racy grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe wild cassis, fresh/juicy blackberry, small notes of cornflower, small blue berries/juicy blueberry as well as fine hints of fresh liquorice stick, fresh mild tobacco, an imperceptible hint of grey pepper and almond. Tannins are precise, fine and finely firm. Good length. A small appetence on the finish/persistence.
