The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small tension as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, fresh/juicy blackberry and small notes of small black berries associated with touches of juicy raspberry as well as fine hints of violet, rose, nutmeg and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Very fine hints of chocolate, coffee and vanilla in the persistence.
