It reveals notes of ripe cassis, liquorice, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of violet as well as a hint of candied cherry/griotte and very fine hints of cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a beautiful freshness, minerality, suavity, dynamism, a fine grain as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of concentration cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of small concentrated black berries, violet as well as subtle hints of cornflower, cherry, crushed raspberry, discreet hints of spices, an imperceptible hint of vanilla/toasted and an imperceptible hint of cardamom/cocoa (in the background). Good length. A small power on the finish/persistence. Tannins are well-built.
