It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of violet, Sichuan pepper and very fine hints of cardamom/sweet spices. The palate is fruity, very finely tight and offers minerality, a fine freshness, a certain dynamism as well as a fine fluidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of small red berries as well as hints of liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of cardamom. A well-built and very discreetly tight tannic structure. Good length. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
