The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers a certain richness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, crushed blackberry, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of bright violet as well as hints of caramelization, chocolate, a subtle hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of coffee. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, tension, minerality as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of redcurrant, lilac as well as subtle hints of liquorice, toasted, chocolate, an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background) and a fine salinity/iode (in the background). Good length. Tannins are elegant, precise and finely firm. A beautiful salinity in the finish/persistence.
