The nose is fruity, beautifully racy and offers intensity, elegance as well as deepness and a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of kumquat, yellow peach and small notes of fresh flowers/fresh iris associated with touches of crushed brugnon, quince as well as fine lemon hints, flint, lychee, spices (fresh ginger), discreet hints of almond, salinity and a buttery hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully defined and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse of the fat/fullness, a certain subtility, a beautiful fine grain, gourmandize as well as a beautiful unctuous matter (full of finesse and straightness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy lemon, crushed/fleshy brugnon and small notes of fleshy/juicy pear associated with touches of kumquat, crushed Mirabelle as well as fine hints of toasted hazelnut and a very discreet saline hint. Good length. A good persistence with a subtle hint of hazelnut/brioche and salinity on the 5th caudalie.
