The nose is fruity and offers a small racy minerality, a fine power as well as a very fine straightness. It reveals notes of crunchy cassis, crunchy raspberry associated with fine touches of iris as well as very fine hints of blackberry, tonka bean and a subtle hint of vanilla pod. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, small juicy/fresh red berries, small notes of iris associated with a touch of juicy cassis as well as fine hints of caramelization and liquorice. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
