The nose is fruity and offers elegance, a small concentration as well as a fine grain and a fine deepness. It reveals notes of crushed Boysen berry, cassis, small notes of violet, lily associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, fleshy raspberry as well as hints of liquorice, bourbon vanilla, incense and a very fine hint of orange zests (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, squared and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, suavity as well as tension, a certain straightness and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/crushed blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, lily, liquorice stick as well as small hints of small crushed red berries, camphor and bourbon vanilla. Tannins are well-built, precise and elegant. A certain gourmandize on the persistence/aftertaste.
