The nose offers power, a small concentration, a fine intensity as well as a certain tension. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy blueberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of crushed red berries, hints of liquorice, violet, a very fine hint of spices and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers tension, a small suavity, minerality as well as a juicy/mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, fresh raspberry, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small juicy/fleshy red berries, fresh liquorice, graphite/fresh gravels as well as very fine hints of liquorice stick and a subtle saline hint (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of toasted, cocoa and a good bitterness on the persistence. A juicy, fresh, straight and on the fruit wine.
