The nose is fruity, aromatic, finely tight and offers concentration. It reveals notes of crushed/concentrated cassis, crushed/concentrated cherry, small notes of violet, lily associated with touches of small crushed blue fruits, crushed strawberry as well as a hint of rose, graphite, liquorice, balsamic and an imperceptible hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, concentration as well as minerality and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis/concentrated cassis, crushed cassis, small notes of cornflower, lily associated with touches of crushed wild strawberry, fresh blackberry as well as hints of rose, graphite/racy minerality, very fine hints of liquorice stick and a subtle hint of cardamom. Tannins are slightly firm. A very fine hint of almond/chocolate on the persistence.
