The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers freshness, juiciness, tension as well as a fine fat, a small suavity, a certain gourmandize, a good structure, a small straightness and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crushed cassis, pulpy, blackberry, small notes of small blue berries associated with touches of fleshy/crushed raspberry, cornflower as well as hints of toasted, liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built, very finely chewy. A fine chew in the finish. Fine hints of crushed almond on the persistence (bring gourmandize).
