The nose is fruity and offers a fine power/richness, a certain gourmandize as well as a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, cornflower, small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry, cherry blossom as well as fine hints of vanilla, graphite, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of cocoa. The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers freshness, juiciness, tension as well as a fine fat, a small suavity, a certain gourmandize, a good structure, a small straightness and concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crushed cassis, pulpy, blackberry, small notes of small blue berries associated with touches of fleshy/crushed raspberry, cornflower as well as hints of toasted, liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built, very finely chewy. A fine chew in the finish. Fine hints of crushed almond on the persistence (bring gourmandize).
