The nose is fruity, elegant and offers gourmandize, a pulpy/fleshy fruit, a beautiful juiciness and freshness. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry, small notes of violet plum associated with small touches of small juicy/fresh yellow fruits, lilac, gravels/terroir as well as very fine hints of rose wood, spices, a very discreet hint of fresh sap and a very discreet varietal hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, structure, suavity as well as a certain racy minerality and a small appetence. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet plum, liquorice, toasted as well as a subtle hint of crushed chocolate/cocoa powder, fleshy/crushed cherry, very fine hints of lilac, graphite/pencil lead and sweet spices. Tannins are structuring, well-built and finely chewy. A very fine chew on the finish/persistence.
