The nose is fruity, well-built and offers freshness, a fine complexity, an aromatic purity and a racy minerality. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe cherry, small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy cassis as well as fine hints of rose, liquorice stick, very fine hints of graphite and a subtle hint of incense. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, squared and offers a good definition, precision, juiciness and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy blackberry, cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of crunchy raspberry as well as small hints of cherry, cherry blossom, very fine hints of chocolate/cocoa, fine hints of caramelization and graphite/racy. A persistence on notes of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of toasted/brioche.
