The nose is fruity and offers a fine complexity, elegant and a certain deepness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, small notes of crushed cassis associated with fine touches of black cherry, crushed redcurrant as well as hints of chocolate, toasted and a very discreet hint of cedar. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as juiciness and a juicy/fresh/finely acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, black cherry, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of fresh raspberry, fresh redcurrant as well as fine hints of fresh cornflower, very fine hints of toasted almond (in the background) and a discreet hint of fresh liquorice. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
