Quinta Seara d’Ordens – 10 Years Old White Port

The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a certain richness (but full of balance / control), fine grain as well as precision. On the palate, this Porto reveals notes of jammy quince, orangette and small notes of mandarin marmalade associated with small touches of pear in caramel as well as fine hints of pâtisseries, crème brûlée and a subtle hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, a fine grain, a good finesse of the guideline as well as a good softness. In the mouth, this Porto expresses notes of crystallized lemon, jammy quince and small notes of crystallized mandarin associated with small touches of candied pear, pear blossom as well as a subtle hint of roasted pineapple, caramelization and a discreet hint of fresh walnut / roasted hazelnut. Good length. A very discreet hint of toasted hint / grilled hazelnut on the finish / persistence.
